Chicken Thigh Broth

Chicken thigh broth is the foundation of a lot of my cooking for low salt dishes.

Ingredients

  • Fresh Chicken Thighs

  • Water

  • Onion Powder

  • Pepper

  • Or seasoning of your desire.

  • Keeping in mind you will be making salt free dishes.

Preparation

Step 1

Wash well and place in pot of water bring to a boil.

Lower heat to low.

Set timer and cook for 20 mins.



Step 2


Clean sink and all surfaces raw chicken came in contact with.

Before other food is prepared in the same area.

Use warm soapy water.



Step 3


After 20 minutes season with pepper onion powder and (garlic powder optional).

Continue cooking for 30 minutes at low heat. (Do not boil water out).
